PTC Granite is the native modelling kernel behind Pro/Engineer. Edgecam Solid Machinist for Granite utilizes this kernel to loads a Pro/ ENGINEER model exactly as it was created. Using innovative features such as Automatic Feature Recognition, Technology Assistant and Code Wizard, a comprehensive machining strategy and NC code can be generated right - the first time!

UGS Parasolid

Edgecam Solid Machinist uses Parasolid® to accurately and reliably generate machining strategies for Parasolid models from the wide range of CAD systems built with the Parasolid® geometric modeling kernel. The resultant toolpaths are associative to the original model, and any downstream design changes can automatically be reflected in the machining toolpaths.

Probe Ops is a development partner specializing in probing software which allows machine tool probing cycles to be written along side machining. Probe Ops enables quick and easy programming of the probes from within Edgecam, providing a comprehensive list of probing macros and detailed help for all macro inputs.
