The system integrates NC files of ISO and Binary formats; enabling Mazatrol controls, for example, to be fully supported. It also supports all types of network machines with their unique individual requirements (e.g: Siemens, Heidenhain, Fanuc, Mazak etc).

Edgecam DNC
Edgecam DNC utilizes Ethernet networking technology to provide direct connection of all types of machine tools to standard networks via network cable or WLAN. Program loading and saving is done from the machine tool control keyboard without the need for individual machine specific terminals.

An automatically organized database of NC files and associated manufacturing information allows the use of SMART program identification, for example by part number or design specific data.

Edgecam DNC Pro
Edgecam DNC Pro is a client-server .NET based application. A fully detailed log book automatically logs all NC file related transactions. Edgecam DNC Pro is FDA-compliant – fulfilling all the requirements for FDA validation according to the standard for medical equipment: DIN EN ISO 13485:2003 or ISO standards for NC file management and traceability.

NC files and associated documentation are stored securely on a file server, with all the functionality of Edgecam DNC, plus these unique additional functions:

• An SQL database manages all files for complete traceability and quality control
• Fully integrated data management via ‘drag and drop’ functionality
• File revision control and automatic versioning
• Fully detailed log files which detail all data transactions
• Edgecam DNC Pro runs as a true network service

Edgecam Machine Tool Monitoring
Edgecam MTM allows users to monitor machine tool activity and collect the information for retention and analysis.
